Milton Holland

Milton Earl Holland, 69, passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes Indiana on Friday, December 31, 2021, at 6:24 pm. Milton was born on Tuesday, February 12, 1952, in Washington, Indiana to William Marion and Vonnie Jean (Ropp) Holland. On July 19, 1976, Milton married Sandra Gail Shepard and they spent forty-five years together. He loved to put together puzzles, wash and wax his vehicles. Milton and Sandra loved to travel. They especially loved Myrtle Beach where he would sit for hours watching the waves. Surviving Milton is his wife Sandra (Shepard); his daughter Carrie Burger and husband Robert of Hymera, Indiana, and his son Troy Holland and wife Jenny of Vincennes, Indiana; Grandsons Toby, Trey, and Tanner Holland; his mother Vonnie Holland of Petersburg, Indiana; and his sister Patty Weathers of Petersburg, Indiana. Milton was proceeded in death by his father William Holland, brother William "Butch" Holland, and sister Linda Ropp. A graveside service will be performed by Brother Chad Searls of the Petersburg Holiness Church at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg, Indiana on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Walnut Hills Cemetery for maintenance.
