Morris Nowaskie

Morris L. Nowaskie, 84, of 2799 E. Henry Road, Vincennes, passed away at 11;20 am Friday March 4, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital.He was born in Vincennes on August 30, 1931 to Henry and Norma (Oexmann) Nowaskie.Morris farmed and was in the trucking business for many years and proudly served his country in the Navy. His memberships included the St. Peter Lutheran Church and the V.F.W.Surviving is his son, J.R. Nowaskie; two grandchildren, Jessi Nowaskie and Jennifer Blagrave; and two great grandchildren.Preceding him in death was his wife, Thelma (Matthews) Nowaskie on January 27, 2016; his parents; a daughter, Lisa Welton; and a sister, Shirley Bonner.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev.
