Nancy Hettich

Nancy E. Hettich, 81, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away August 18, 2024. She was born in Lawrenceville, IL on August 14, 1943, to the late Cecil and Cleo Ressie (Reichman) Neighbors. Nancy attended Lawrenceville High School. She married the love of her life, Bobby Joe Hettich. Nancy proudly owned and operated Real McCoy Cafe for 15+ years. She was a regular attendant of the Allison Prairie Church of the Brethren.

In her free time, Nancy enjoyed playing Yatzee, Scrabble, and Uno; spending time with her family, crafting, cooking and baking, reading, crocheting, watching True Crime and Gameshow, and coloring. She will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Cleo Neighbors; husband Bobby Joe Hettich; siblings Etta Pruitt, Helen Jewell, Sally Painter, Jimmy Neighbors, and Chuck Neighbors.

Nancy is survived by her children Brad (Cindy) Hettich, Bobby Joe Hettich II, Keith Hettich, Billie Hettich; siblings Mary Small, Susie (Dennis) O'Dell, Gracie (Sidney) Taylor, David Neighbors; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends.
