Nancy Jones

Nancy Elaine Jones, 54, of Monroe City, passed away on November 13, 2012 in Pike County. Nancy was born on, July 5, 1958 in Vincennes, the daughter of John W. and Amy Jane (Barger) Jones. Nancy was an administration manager at Lowes in Vincennes. She was a lifetime member of VFW and loved riding her motorcycle on country roads. She was an ABATE Club member and recruiter. Nancy enjoyed target practice, and she loved animals and taking stray pets in who needed a loving home. Nancy loved her dog Oscar. Survivors include her father, John W. Jones of Vincennes; sister, Cathy Jones of Bicknell; brother Johnny Jones of Seymour, IN; long time friend, Kathy Blagrave of Monroe City and several nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her mother. Funeral services for Nancy will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2012 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Rev. Ray Tromley officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with Nancy's family on Sunday from 2-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Midwest Friends of Animals No Kill Shelter, 12873 W.
