Nila Perry

Nila Perry, a beloved homemaker in Vincennes, Indiana, sadly passed away on October 5, 2024. Born on August 23, 1960, Nila's life was a tapestry woven with love, kindness, and unbreakable bonds.

Throughout her life, Nila found joy in the simple pleasures, cherishing moments spent with her husband, Dennis, and adoring her mother, Norma Keller. Her days were filled with laughter and love, watching her favorite TV shows like Cops, reality shows, Tyler Perry's Madea movies, and Empire. Nila's warm smile and gentle nature touched the hearts of all who knew her, making her a treasured member of her community.

Nila's love for her family knew no bounds, and she held dear the memories made with her loved ones. Her marriage to Dennis was a true testament to love and partnership, a union that brought light and happiness to both of their lives.

Nila is survived by her husband, Dennis Perry; mother, Norma Keller; sister, Rita Craibaugh; son, Christopher Foster; daughters, Chastity Brace and Krystal Foster; grandchildren, Makinze Foster, Christopher Foster Jr, Makayela Foster, Mariah Foster, Shanna Foster, Mason Foster, Ian Foster, Jermey Craine , Jasmine Sanders, Nakitia Brace, Skyler Brace, and Charlie Brace, and her uncle, Rusty Jim Keller. Nila is preceded in death by her father, Archie Foster; sister, Anita Hacker; daughter, Heidi Brace; uncles, Bob Keller, Harry Keller, and Herb Keller.

There will be no services. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Nila.
