Noble Jones

Noble "Buck" Edward Joseph Jones, 78, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away at 3:10 am Monday December 3, 2018 at his residence with his family at his side.He was born September 23, 1940 in Vincennes to Noble and Ann Louise (Messel) Jones.Buck worked as a brick mason for Union Local #4 of which he was a Gold card member. A member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and the Silver Sneakers at the YMCA, he loved riding motorcycles and his dogs.Surviving are his wife, Teresa (Ferguson) Jones, whom he married in 1996; his children, Shelly Cary and her husband Paul, Barbara Vermillion and her husband Dick, Judy Pohl and her husband Mark, Kenneth Jones, and Richard Jones and his wife Tiffiney, all of Vincennes; along with 9 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.Memorial contributions may be made to the Vincennes Pet Port. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday December 15th, 2018 at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Rev. Donald Ackerman officiating. Goodwin Funeral Home is honored to serve Buck's family.
