Nora Grabbe

Nora Faye (Riley) Grabbe, 35, passed away at 12:00am with her family & friends by her side on Monday, July 10, 2023, at her residence in Vincennes, IN. She was born on February 22, 1988, to Neil and Mary Riley in Evansville, IN. Nora attended Wood Memorial High School, and was a member of the 2006 graduating class. Upon high school completion, attended Oakland City University where she obtained her bachelors' degree in Psychology and Criminology. She then went on to receive her masters' degree in Forensic Psychology from Walden University. Following completion of school, she pursued her career as a behavioralist, and worked for Bridges of Indiana before her diagnosis. Nora was a lover of table top games, video games, and especially enjoyed playing them with her husband and friends. She loved to travel, camp, and go on cruises. After her diagnosis, she developed a love for handmaking jewelry, and she became rather good at it. Nora will be deeply missed by everyone who loved her. Surviving Nora is her husband, Travis Grabbe of Vincennes, IN; her parents, Neil and Mary Riley of Somerville, IN; her sister, Sara Hunter (Jacob) of Somerville, IN; her niece, Addison Jo Hunter, her paternal grandfather Charlie Freudenberg (Linda), and her beloved Daschund, Wynnie. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Richard and Delima Riley, and her maternal grandmother, Charlotte Faye Freudenberg. Visitation for Nora will take place on Thursday, July 13, 2023, from 4:00 - 8:00pm at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home 524 Broadway St., Vincennes, IN 47591. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, July 14, 2023, at 10:00am at the funeral home with Pastor Jared Henry officiating. Following the funeral, inurnment will take place at Bethel Cemetery in Freelandville, IN. Online condolences may be shared with the family at goodwinsievers.com.
