Norma Boyer

Norma Lee Boyer, 89, of Vincennes, passed away at 5:00 pm Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at BridgePointe Health Campus.She was born December 9, 1930 in Vincennes, Indiana to William and Mildred (Burke) McClellan.Norma had worked at Prestolite and had belonged to the Bruceville Rod and Gun Club and the Vincennes Ladies Fire Auxiliary. Norma enjoyed spending time with her family making sure she always had M&Ms and malt balls in the gumball machine, and an and endless number of pennies for the great grandchildren. She also enjoyed painting with her husband Bob at their rental houses.Surviving are her children Karen VanKirk of Vincennes and Mike Boyer and his wife Barbara of Vincennes; her grandchildren Rachel Garret and her husband Greg of Morganfield, KY, and Sarah Carie and her husband Matt of Vincennes; along with her great grandchildren Makayla Carie, Maggie, Carie, Wade Carie, Landon Henry, and Madison Garrett.Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband Robert "Bob" Boyer whom she married July, 3, 1948 and preceded her on January 15, 2020; her son in-law Ervin VanKirk, and her sister Betty Lou Brown.Private services will be held being officiated by Bryce Anderson.
