Norma Cogswell

Norma B. Cogswell, 94, passed away at 5:40 am on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Gentle Care Nursing Home. Norma was born on April 9, 1920 in Knox County the daughter of William Luther and Estella Mae (Glass) Burkhart.Norma was a 1938 graduate of Oaktown High school and a homemaker.Survivors include her sons, Terry Reel and his wife Dava of Vincennes, Bruce Reel of Vincennes, Kent Cogswell of Olney, IL; daughters, Sandy Sears and her husband David of Bridgeport, IL, Cindy Later of Vincennes; grandchildren, Travis Reel, Dawn Reel, Matt Reel, Zara Reel, Christine Williams, Tasha Legg, Aaron Sears, Stephanie Latta, Keith Later; four great grandchildren and five step grandchildren. Norma was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Nick Later, son-in-law, Steve Later and one sister, Maxine Hess.Graveside services for Norma will be held at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Deacon Cletus Yochum officiating. There will be no visitation and Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. On line condolences may be sent at www.gardnerbrockman.com.
