Norma Davis

Norma Jean Davis, 74, 350 Felt King Rd., Vincennes, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Born August 6, 1936, in Bicknell, she was the daughter of Herman and Ershel (Loving) Julian. Norma had worked at Hamilton Glass and was a homemaker. She raised her children and helped raise her grandchildren. She was very proud of both and enjoyed spending time with all of them. She loved to bake and was known for her homemade noodles and pies.Survivors include children, Charles Davis and his wife Melody of Vincennes, Kimberly Elzey and her husband William of Louisville, KY, Rebecca Lee and Glenn Cooper of Vincennes and Creig Davis of Vincennes; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and sisters and brothers, Dorothy June Conrad of Sumner, IL, Herman "Bud" Julian of Fayetteville, NC, Billy Harold Julian of Hawaii, Jimmy Julian of Atlantic Beach, FL, Judith Ann Weidner of Mojave, CA and Mary Jane Julian of Mobile, AL.Preceding Norma in death were her parents; husband, Charles Ray Davis; son, Chris Davis and brothers, Kenneth Earl Julian, Danny Michael Julian and Terry Lee Julian.Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, July 14 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Jonathan Clinkenbeard officiating.
