Norma Jean Lennon, 88, 1420 Wheeler street, Vincennes, passed away Monday December 19, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital with her family at her sideShe was born January 24, 1928 in Knox County to Lowell and Mildred (Helderman) Beaman.She retired from the Executive Inn in the catering department and was a member of the United Methodist Church. Norma enjoyed her beautiful flowers that she grew, was an amazing cook, and she loved her caring family.Surviving are her daughters, Rita Florence of Robinson, IL and Trish Munn of Vincennes; her brother Jim (Joy) Beaman of Wheatland; her sister in law, Shirley Beaman of Monroe City; four grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lloyd J. Lennon September of 1979, 1 brother Bob Beaman, 2 sisters, Thelma Richardson and infant Nancy Beaman, and son in law Charles Florence.Funeral services will be held Tuesday 3:00 pm December 27, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Trevor Murray officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the service on Tuesday.Memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice.
