Norma Like

Norma Lee Like, 93, passed away at 4:00 am on July 8, 2021 at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, IN. Born November 28, 1927 in Knox County, IN she was the daughter of Orion and Mary (Robinson) Goldman. She married Elmer Jr. Like in 1945 and he preceded her in death in 2003. Norma enjoyed being a homemaker, camping, NBA Basketball and playing euchre. She was a volunteer at the Blue Jeans Center and attended Walnut Grove Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Jerry Like and his wife Tracy, one grandson Justin, and several nieces and nephews. Norma was preceded in death by her husband Elmer, a son Terry, two brothers, Wade and Ralph Goldman, and sister-in-law's Virginia and Betty Goldman. Friends may visit with Norma's family from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St., Vincennes with Pastor Brenda Wick officiating. Norma will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery next to her husband Elmer Jr. Like. The Like family would like to invite all of those who attend the funeral service to join them for a bereavement meal immediately following the graveside at Hamline Chapel Church.
