Norma Murray

Norma Jane Murray, 95, passed away at 6:43 pm on November 8, 2022 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. Norma was born on February 27, 1927 in Washington, IN and she is the daughter of Russell and Sylvia (McDonald) Webber. Jane was a member of First Baptist Church and a member at large of the Delta Theta Tau Sorority. She worked for the Vincennes Department of Transportation, later becoming the Indiana Department of Transportation for thirty eight years and she retired in July of 2005. Jane was very proud of the fact that she was the first female District EEO Officer in the State of Indiana. She also loved cats. Survivors include her son, Kim Murray and his wife Claudia of Washington, IN; her grandchildren, Lisa Edwards and her husband Brian, Terry Murray and his wife Melissa; great grandchildren, Kelsey Siegel and her husband Josh, Drew Murray and Estralia, Montana Edwards, Brittany Murray; and her great great grandchildren, Hunter Siegel, Kendall Edwards Quast, Hayden Siegel, and Matthew Murray. Jane is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Sylvia Webber. There will be private services held at a date to be determined and Jane will be laid to rest in Sugarland Memory Gardens.
