Norma Pea

Norma R. Pea, 83, of 3108 Old Bruceville Rd., Vincennes, passed away at 7:00 am Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Gentle Care Nursing Home.She was born October 5, 1927 in Vincennes, to James and Vernona (Snider) Rayburn.Norma retired from Indiana Bell in 1978 as a telephone operator and supervisor. She was a member of the First Christian Church, the Communication Workers of America, and the Telephone Pioneers. She was an accomplished artist and loved to travel and play with her grandchildren.Norma is survived by her husband of 63 years, Andrew Pea, daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Richard Tolson of Vincennes, sons & daughters - in-laws, Bruce & Janice Pea of Champaign, Il, Jerry & Kris Pea of Salem, IL, 7 grandchildren, Ryan and Daniel Pea of Champaign, Joseph & Sheila Canham of Chicago, Katy & Chris Hall of Chicago, Madeline Pea of Salem, Erin Pea of Glen Carbon, IL, and Elizabeth and Zachary Westfall of Vincennes. Also surviving is a great grandson, Colton Westfall, along with 45 nieces and nephews, and 83 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Vernona (Snyder) Rayburn, sisters: Helen Martin, Thelma Cole, Mary Alice Crane, Evelyn Carrithers, brothers: Harold Rayburn, Richard Rayburn, Robert Rayburn, three nieces, and a nephew.Funeral services will be held 10:30 EDT Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev.
