Norma Riegle

Norma D. Riegle, 97, of 1508 Kimmell Road, Vincennes, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2020 at Willow Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Vincennes.She was born January 5, 1923 in Lawrence County, Illinois, she was the daughter of John A. Cotterell and Irene M. (Paddick) Cotterell.She and her late husband, Ebert Riegle, owned and operated Riegle Electric in Vincennes, Indiana, starting in 1957, having moved the business from Hammond, Indiana. The company was well known in the Vincennes area doing mostly industrial and commercial contracting until their retirement in 1991. Norma and her husband were active in a number of Masonic organizations and the Travelers Protective Association and very much enjoyed camping and traveling in their motor home.She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Vincennes for 63 years and enjoyed being a part of the Christian fellowship, until her health prevented her from attending.Survivors include two sons, Daryle and Kay Riegle of Vincennes, Indiana, and Nyle and Cathy Riegle of Linton, Indiana; a sister-in-law, Edna Riegle of Vincennes; four grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren (one preceding her in death) along with two nephews and one niece.Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, September 12, 2020 in Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Matt Swisher officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to the First United Methodist Church, 411 N. 4th, Vincennes, IN 47591.
