Norma Shackelford

Norma Maxine Shackelford, 87, of Vincennes, IN, passed away May 30, 2019, surrounded by her loved ones, at Willow Manor.Norma was a homemaker, and had worked as Outreach Coodinator for the Harbor House. She loved playing poker, Yahtzee, and video games. Norma never met a stranger.She was born June 27, 1931, to Clarence W. and Opal A. (McKinney) Russell. On April 16, 1949, she married Ramon Shackelford, and he passed away March 5, 2012. Also preceding her were her brothers, Don and Jerry Russell.Surviving are her daughters, Marsha Chambers and her husband, S. Jack, of Bruceville, IN, Becky Shackelford of Vincennes, IN, Tracie Sinders and her husband, Al, of Vincennes, IN, and Sara Murphy and her husband, Dave, of Lawrenceville, IL; her grandchildren, Brad Sartor, Ryan Chambers, Heather Mallett, Tom Cox, Mandee Cox, Tricia Taylor, and Cory Stuckman; her step-grandchilddren, S. Jack Chambers, Jr., Robert Chambers, Galen Murphy, and Cole Sinders; her great-grandchildren, Thomas North-Chambers, Vickie Harmon, Jasmine Mallett, Whitney Mallett, Vanessa Mallett, Roxie Cox, Felix Taylor, Lizzie Cox, Tatiana Taylor, Kentrell Taylor, and Beliscia Bean; and her step-great-grandchildren, Caleb Chambers and his wife, Brenna, Jacob Chambers and his fiance', Stephanie Hardin, Brent Chambers and his wife, Erica, Jesse Chambers, Katelyn Sinders, Macey Tighe and Dawson Tighe.Friends may visit with her family from 2:00 - 5:00 on Sunday, at Goodwin Funeral Home. The funeral will be conducted by Rev. Fred Nocus, on Monday, at 10:00, at the funeral home.
