Oleta Young

Oleta "Tommy" Young, age 86, formerly of Vincennes, passed away on Tuesday April 8th.2014 at Hospice of Cincinnati.She was born May 26, 1927 in Vigo County, Indiana to Hugh and Iva (Brown) Findley. Tommy was a member of the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and was employed by Prestolite from 1952 - 1985. She resided in the Vincennes area from 1945 - 2009, and in Cincinnati, Ohio from 2009 - 2014. Surviving her is a daughter, Carolyn Sue Ensfield (Arnie) of Clearville, Pennsylvania; a son, Herbert T. Young (Cindy) of Cincinnati, Ohio; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathryn Coffin (Kenny) of Terre Haute, Indiana. She was preceded in death by Herbert John Young, her husband of 52 years, her sister Marjorie Myers and her granddaughter, Stephanie Young.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday April 12, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Wagner officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the service time. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.
