Pamela K. Shepherd

Pamela K. Shepherd, affectionately known as Pam to those who loved her, left a mark on this world that will never be erased. Born on January 5, 1959, in Vincennes, Indiana, she is the daughter of David and Carolyn (Wonning) Lane. Pamela spent her 64 years making the world a brighter place. Her radiant smile, infectious laughter, and loving heart touched many, creating bonds that will forever be cherished. She loved nothing more than spending time with her beloved grandchildren and her dog Chuck. Her family was her heart's treasure, and she cherished every moment she spent with them.

A woman of many interests, Pamela enjoyed crafts, knitting, and puzzling over trivia and math problems just for the fun of it. She found joy in the creativity and challenge of these activities, and her love for Disney brought an added touch of magic to her life. Pamela was a woman who knew how to find joy in the ordinary, and her spirit of delight was infectious. Pamela was married to her husband, Mike Shepherd, on January 23, 1987, and together they created a life filled with love and laughter.

Pamela will forever be remembered by her loving husband, Mike, her parents David Lane and Carolyn Lane both of Vincennes; her sons Cary Summers of Orlando, FL, Shane Shepherd and his wife Chasity of Vincennes, Nick Shepherd and his wife Cristy of Broken Arrow, OK, her daughters Sarah Burns and her husband Lauren of Glenpool, OK, Tiffany Desaulniers and her husband Steven of Glenpool, OK, her sister Cathy Kerns and her husband Greg of Bruceville; her grandchildren that she adored very much, Brinley Hutson, Corrina Haynes, Krislyn Shepherd, Hannah Donahue, London Ingmire, Abby Shepherd, Dylin Burns, Ava Desaulniers, Zane Shepherd, Aryia Burns, Acy Shepherd, Logan Burns and Sutton Burns. Her memory will continue to shine in their hearts and lives, a beacon of love and warmth that will never fade.

The visitation is set to be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023, from 2:00 pm until 6:00 pm EST at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway Street, Vincennes, Indiana, 47591. The funeral service will follow on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 1:00pm EST at the same venue with Pastor Nathan Rastl officiating. Pam will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery.
