Pat Mcmillen

Pat A. McMillen, 94, of Vincennes, passed away at 2:15 am Sunday, January 16, 2022 at the Villages of Oak Ridge in Washington. He was born June 15, 1927 in Vincennes to William and Lida McMillen. He married Alice Rohrer on May 5, 1950 and they were together for 60 years and worked side by side in his optometry office in Vincennes. Pat was an Eagle scout, served in the Navy, was a Mason, Jaycee, and Elks member. He attended the First Baptist Church in Vincennes. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice, his parents and 12 brothers and sisters. Surviving are his daughters Jan Marie Meyer and her husband Marvin of Monroe City, Jill Mueller and her husband Bruce of Fort Wayne, his sister-in-law Dorothy Rohrer, Evansville, his grandchildren, Jason Woolard, Janet Brelsfoard, Jadean Neireiter, Fort Wayne, Mindy Strayer, Edmonds Wa, Tressa MacLennan, Scottsdale, AZ, along with 10 great grandchildren. Pat enjoyed playing golf, playing bridge, and visiting his grandchildren. He was a devoted Cardinal baseball fan and stock market investor. Most of all he enjoyed working in his office with Alice at his side. Visitation for Pat will be Monday, January 24, 2022 from 11 am - 1:00 pm at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St, Vincennes, IN. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted in the care of Pat.
