Patricia Dyson

Patricia Ann Dyson, 53, passed away at 5:32 pm on November 15, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Patty was born on May 12, 1964 in Lawrenceville, IL the daughter of Bruce and Phyllis (Kneipp) Barker. She married Donald Dyson on August 25, 1990.Patty grew up in Lawrenceville and graduated from Lawrenceville High School where she participated in the marching band. She was the jewelry department manager at Wal-Mart and enjoyed her children, grandchildren, Florida and the beach. Patty was also a really good baker.Survivors include her husband, Donald Dyson of Vincennes; daughter, Samantha Palmer and her husband Daniel of Vincennes; son, Tucker Dyson of Vincennes; grandchildren, Gunner and Ryker Palmer; father, Bruce Barker of Lawrenceville; brothers, Brian Barker of Vincennes, David Barker and his wife Allison of Indianapolis, and Matthew Barker and his wife Amber of Vincennes. Patty was preceded by her mother Phyllis Barker.Funeral services for Patty will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 20, 2017 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes with Pastor Georg Karl officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with Pattys family on Monday from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
