Patricia Fossmeyer

Patricia Ann Fossmeyer, 82, of 50 Front Street, Hume, Illinois, formerly of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away Friday March 29, 2013 in Champaign, Illinois. She was born March 30, 1930 in Vincennes, to William Wendell and Hazel (Shearer) Prout.Patricia worked as a Registered Medical Technologist at Good Samaritan Hospital where she was their first Medical Technologist graduate. She was a member of the Vincennes 7th Day Adventist Church. Other activities include Pathfinder's Master Guide, V.F.W Auxiliary and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her children, Gina and Mark Starkey of Metcalf, Illinois, Chris and Luanna Fossmeyer of Carmel; sister, Rosalie Vollmer of Lawrenceville; grandchildren, Nelson Starkey, Katie Starkey, Keegan Fossmeyer, Claire Fossmeyer, and Kenzie Fossmeyer.Preceding her in death was her husband Melvin, her parents, and two sisters.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, April 4, 2013 with Scott McQuinn officiating.
