Patty Pheffer

Patty A. Pheffer, 85, of Vincennes, passed away at 9:43 am Saturday April 04, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital.She was born September 24, 1934 in Vincennes, Indiana to Earl and Bertha (Conklin) Arthur.Patty retired from Johnson Controls and was affiliated with the First Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and being with her children and grandchildren.Surviving are a daughter Susan Thompson and her husband Ron of Bruceville; daughter-in-law Stephanie Pheffer of Vincennes; her brother Jim Artur and his wife Vonda of Flat Rock, Illinois; her grandchildren Brian Thompson and his wife Jenny, Jason Thompson and his wife Kandi, and Jennifer, Ashley, and Joshua Pheffer; along with his great grandchildren Ellie, Evan, and Owen Thompson, Riley and Kaylee Thompson, Morgan Grimme, and Johnny and Brianna Graham.Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband Roy Pheffer Jr. whom she married on October 14, 1952 and preceded her on August 27, 2009; a son Donald Pheffer; a daughter Judy Pheffer; her brothers Elmer, Francis, Raymond, Charles, and Larry Arthur; and her sister Dora Steel.Private family services will be held Tuesday, April 7th, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Travis Stamper officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene Building Fund.
