Paul "Danny Ellis went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 6, 2023, in Owensville, Indiana at the age of 48, with his family by his side. He was born on September 9, 1974, in Oakland City, Indiana. Danny is survived by the love of his life and best friend Pennie Green Ellis, four children which loved with all his heart, Halie Baehl husband Bryce, Allison Ellis, Baylie Ellis, Harrison Ellis, two grandchildren Ethan Baehl, Noah Baehl, three brothers Tony Ellis wife Jessica, Ronnie Ellis wife Nichole, Tim Ellis wife Debbie, one sister Trish Harm husband Curtis, father in law Larry Green, brother in law JD Green, sister in law Julie Green, cousin Cheryl Bryant, one aunt Lauretta Bryant, along with numerous nieces, nephews, coal mine buddies and other relatives and friends. Danny is preceded in death by his parents Paul C. Ellis, Marilyn Gateway Ellis. Danny graduated from Gibson Southern High School in the class of 1993. He meets the love of his life Pennie Green Ellis and got married on June 15, 1996. They had four great children! Danny is a Sunday School teacher at the Vertical Church in Fort Branch. He is on Owensville Board of the Fire Department. Danny loves his family very much. That is the most important part of his life other serving the Lord! He loved his job in the coal mines which he has been in the coal industry for many years. He loved to go camping and enjoy the outdoors. He loved to watch movies and television with the grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all! A celebration of life for Danny Ellis will be held at a later date.
