Paul Hefty

Tom Hefty, 86, of Vincennes, passed away Sept. 20, 2013, at his home. Tom had worked for E.H. Montgomery Construction through the Laborer's Union. He retired to care for his mother. Tom enjoyed his cats and dogs. Born Oct. 1, 1927, he was the son of John Paul and Eva Beatrice (Lee) Hefty. They preceded him, along with his brothers, Norman "Peck" and Fred Heftyand a nephew, Raymond Edward Kean Surviving Tom is a sister, Rose Twitty of Vincennes; a sister-in-law, Delores Hefty; several nieces and nephews, including David Hefty, Robert Hefty, John Hefty, Sharon Hefty, Rick Twitty, Jacqulin Brookheart, and Linda Gognat ; Shirley Ann Kean of Mt. Vernon, IL, David James Kean from Mexico, Nellie May Kean, of Vincennes and his cousins, Bill Kean, Hubert Kean, and Dorothy Kean. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00am on Friday, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway. Friends may call from 6:00 - 8:00 on Thursday. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
