Paul D. Willis Sr., 74, of 19 West 15th, Vincennes, passed away at 11:40 p.m. Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital.He was born May 21, 1940 in Knox County to Clarence and Ethel (Clemmens) Willis.Paul worked as a carpenter for National Homes and Blackburn Builders.Survivors include his wife, Ernestine (Taylor) Willis whom he married November 14, 1964; his children, Paul D. Willis Jr., and Angela Marsh and her companion Gary Crane, all of Vincennes; his sisters, Pauline Edwards of Monroe City, Inez Ramsey of Palestine, Marceline Peach of Vincennes, and Norma Purcell of Vincennes; his grandchildren, Brett Marsh, Kairee Marsh, and Abbi Marsh; and a great grandchild, Emma Miley Marsh. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and four sisters.Funeral services will be at Noon on Wednesday September 10, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor David Cogdill officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the service time. Memorial contributions may be made to the GSH Hospice House.
