Peggy Coatney

Peggy J. Coatney, 75, went to be with the Lord at 9:00 pm on December 10, 2020. Peggy was born on October 22, 1945 in Butlerville, IN the daughter of Clifford and Norma (Stellter) Padgett.Peggy was a member of the Church on the Way and worked at Washington Nursing Center in the dietary department for twenty years. She later worked as a caregiver until her retirement. Peggy enjoyed talking on the phone with her friends, listening to music, and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed her special pets, Angel and Holly.Survivors include her siblings, Linda Cassiday and her husband Jerry of Grundy Center, IA, Robert Padgett and his wife Bonnie of Friendswood, TX, Toni Damalak of Noblesville, IN, Rocki Padgett of Washington, Denny Osmon and his wife Barb of Washington, her aunt Margie Nalker of Washington, as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Peggy was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Padgett; her mother Norma Osmon, stepfather, Ralph Osmon; infant daughter, brother Steve Osmon, sister Marilyn Buchanan, and sister-in-law, Barb Padgett.Funeral services for Peggy will be held at a later date and she will be laid to rest in Sugarland Memory Gardens.
