Peggy Driskill

Peggy Lou Driskill passed away from this life on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the age of 82 at Bethel Manor Nursing Home in Evansville, Indiana. She was born on Friday, May 12, 1939 to Stanley Fowler and Margaret Dick Fowler of Decker, Indiana. Those left to cherish her memories include the love of her life of 62 years Jesse W. Driskill Jr., two daughters Lynn Hernandez husband David, Kimberly Dayson husband Clay, five grandchildren Lizabeth Browning, Larissa McCoy, Leah Oppy-Johnson, Hayden Dayson, Caroline Dayson, four great grandchildren Evelynn Cahill, Alayna Cahill, Mera Browning, Lennox Johnson, two brothers Joe Fowler wife Bonnie, Dick Fowler wife Joann, one aunt Vera Potts, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Stanley Fowler, Margaret Dick Fowler, and two brothers Thomas Purkiser, and Danny Hugh Fowler. Peggy Lou Driskill was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church in Decker, Indiana. She was a cheerleader at Decker High School and graduated from there also in 1957. She went to beauty school and was a beautician for over 50 years, at one time owning her own beauty shop. She loved her family very much. Playing games and spending time with the grandchildren and great grandchildren was one of favorite things to do. Watching the Atlanta Braves play baseball and NASCAR was her favorite sports to watch on television. Shopping for shoes, and clothes, and she was great at it and hitting all the sales. Planting flowers in the flower gardens at her house was her hobby. She kept a nice and clean yard. She will be deeply missed by all! Funeral services celebrating the life of Peggy Lou Driskill will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home 524 Broadway Street Vincennes, Indiana. Officiating will be Rev. Nathan Rastl. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes, Indiana. Under the direction of Goodwin Sievers Funeral Home Vincennes, Indiana. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jay Fowler, Stan Fowler, Jack Smith, Matthew McCoy, Hayden Dayson, and Matthew Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Schenk, Eric Johnson, Clay Dayson, David Hernandez, and JB Linneweber Memorials may be made to St. Peters Lutheran Church.
