Peggy Fields

Peggy J. Fields, 84, passed away at 2:50 am on July 12, 2023 at The Villages at Oakridge in Washington, IN. Peggy was born on May 4, 1939 in Knox County and she is the daughter of Cleo and Ruby (Wright) Barmes. Peggy married Arland Stevens and he preceded her in death, she then married Thomas H. Fields and he preceded her in death also. Peggy was a member of Vincennes First Church of the Nazarene, and she had many jobs throughout her life. Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl Williams and her husband Lee of Vincennes; her brother, Marvin Barmes and his wife Barbara; sister, Carol Rabold and her husband Jim and two grandsons, Skylar and Nickolas Williams. Peggy is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents Cleo and Ruby Barmes, first husband Arland Stevens, her second husband Thomas Fields and her brother Gary Barmes. Friends may visit with Peggy's family from 10:00 am until the hour of service time of 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN with Pastor Donnie Stamper officiating.
