Phoebie Croslow

Phoebie V. Croslow, 84, passed away at 11:20 p.m. on March 3, 2012 at Bridgepointe Health Campus. Phoebie was born on May 12, 1927 the daughter of Frank and Jessie (Graham) Lane. She married Mickey E. Croslow on April 16, 1947 and he preceded her in death on May 8, 2009.Phoebie was a self employed restaurant owner and a member of Community United Methodist where she was church organist and pianist for many years. She was also a member of the Washington Elks Club.Survivors include daughter, Diana Lanning and her husband Tim of Wheatland; sons, Terry Croslow and his wife, Sandy of St. Francisville, IL; Bob Croslow and his wife, Lisa of Germantown, TN; sisters, Beulah Walker of Vincennes; Nelda Fredrick of Danville, IN; brother, Hershel Lane of Bloomington, IN; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Preceding Phoebie in death were 3 brothers, Ellis, Ival and Herbert Lane and an infant brother Bobby Lane.A memorial service for Phoebie will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Rev. Ray Tromley and Pastor Georg Karl officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 until 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
