Ramon "Shack" Shackelford, 82, of Vincennes, passed away March 5, 2012, at the New Willow Manor. Born November 5, 1929 in Vincennes, he was the son of Arthur Carl and Gertrude Berdine (Gott) Shackelford. They preceded him. Shack was an electrician and a member of the IBEW, #725. His other memberships included the Emison United Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge, Shrine Club, American Legion, and the NRA. Surviving is his wife, Norma Maxine (Russell) Shackelford; daughters, Marsha (Jack) Chambers of Bruceville, IN, Becky Shackelford of Vincennes, Tracie (Virgil) Shackelford-Sinders of Vincennes, and Sara (Dave) Murphy of Oaktown; a sister, Jean Mattox of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Brad Sartor, Ryan Chambers, Jack Chambers, Jr., Jeremy Chambers, Heather Mallett, Thomas Cox II, Amanda M. Cox, Cole Sinders, Tricia Taylor, Cory Stuckman, and Galen Murphy; and great-grandchildren, Thomas North-Chambers, Caleb Chambers, Jacob Chambers, Brent Chambers, Jesse Chambers, Victoria Harmon, Jasmine Mallett, Elizabeth Cox, Roxie Cox, Katie Sinders, Macey Tighe, Dawson Tighe, Tatiana Taylor and Kentrell Taylor. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 8, at 1:00 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway. Friends may call on Wednesday, from 4:00
