Randy E. Deisher, 76, of Vincennes, IN, went to meet his heavenly Father on Saturday, August 4, 2012. He was born June 1, 1936, in St. Francisville, IL, the son of Charles and Lydia (Murdick) Deisher. He married the love of his life, Phyllis (Crouch) Deisher, on September 5, 1953. Randy retired from E.H. Montgomery Construction Co.. He was a member of Local 561 Laborers Union for 48 years. Randy belonged to the Vincennes Boat Club and the Bethlehem General Baptist Church. Surviving is his wife, Phyllis Deisher of Vincennes; two sons, Randy Lee (Teresa) and Keith (Michelle) Deisher, both of Vincennes; daughters, Sue (Norman) Roark of Bruceville, IN, Theresa (Jeff) Thompson of Westport, IL, and Mary Deisher of Russellville, IL; twenty grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Albert "Bud" (Sandy) Crouch of Vincennes; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was known as "grandpa" to many of the neighborhood kids. Randy was preceded by his son, Roger Deisher, Sr.; two great-grandsons; his parents; his in-laws, Helen Crouch Watts, George Crouch, and Sylvester (Sig) Watts; brothers, Charles and James Deisher; sister, June Brown; brothers-in-law, Jack Saucerman and David Crouch; sister-in-law, Georgia Hedge; and his crazy dog Joe. Randy had become a devout Christian, and loved to discuss his savior with family and friends. He loved the river, boat club gang, camping, travelling, horses, and his family and friends. Phyllis and Randy had made many friends across the United States while travelling, and he will be missed. The family will receive friends from 12:00
