Raymond Rumer

Raymond F. Rumer, 79, of Vincennes, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospital.He was born January 31, 1940 in Evansville, Indiana to Raymond Lawrence Rumer and Thelma Louise "Nana" (Farmer) Rumer.Ray retired from Essex Wire and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Ray devoted a lot of time to the American Legion Veterans and enjoyed boating, hunting, and fishing with his grandchildren.Surviving are his wife, Donna (Devers) Rumer whom he married July 31, 1960; his children, Linda Yochum and her husband Kenneth of Vincennes, and Vicki Peters and her husband Martin of Vincennes; his grandchildren, Shawn Yochum, Andrew Yochum, Dirk Bochner, and Marti Peters; his great grandchildren, Kaleigh Yochum, Colter Yochum, Kindall Yochum, Drew Yochum, Ethan Peters, Blake Bochner, Jackson Bochner, and Grant Bochner; and a great great granddaughter, Kaisley Yochum.He was preceded in death by his parents; along with a brother and sister, Sam Rumer and Mary Hadley.Per Raymond's wishes to be cremated there will be no public services.
