Regina Stokeley

Regina Kay Stokeley, 60, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, January 13, 2023 with her family by her side. Regina was born on November 12, 1962 and is the daughter of Darrell and Mildred "Mid" (Young) Walters. She married Neal Stokeley on July 2, 1983. Regina earned her Masters degree and was a nurse practitioner. She loved her job and took great pride in taking care of all her patients. She had worked for Dr Mohammed, Brinks Family Practice, and Gibson County Coal. Her life revolved around her daughters Amber and Nicole and all their activities, while enjoying every step of the way of them growing up. She was the most loving mother and grandmother. In her spare time she liked to travel, go camping, and ride along with Neal in the truck. Surviving Regina is her husband Neal; daughters, Amber and her husband Luke Miller and Nicole and her husband Junior Rice; grandchildren, Kinsey, Easton, Tucker, Kaden, and Annora; her parents, Darrell and Mildred Walters; her sister, Robin Stepanski and her husband Roger; nieces and nephews, Hannah, Averie, Bailee and her husband Sam, Danni, Marynn and Flynn. Visitation for Regina will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home. A funeral service will be Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Brenda Wick and Pastor Evelyn Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Decker Chapel United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
