Richard Bowers

Richard L. "Rick" Bowers of Vincennes born Oct. 21, 1964 to Jimmy and Madge Bowers. Rick passed away at his home on Jan. 7, 2023. He grew up in Vincennes Indiana and attended Lincoln High School. As a boy Rick enjoyed hunting and fishing along side his brothers and his father. Rick also enjoyed spending time with his mother and sisters. As he got older Rick discovered his love of cars. He enjoyed working on them and cruising around. He was a great mechanic and seemed most comfortable under the hood of a car. He is survived by his brothers Mike Bowers and Craig Bowers both of Vincennes; sisters Darla Steele of Sumner IL.; and Sandy Hennon of Vincennes; as well as many nieces and nephews. Rick is preceded in death by his parents Jimmy and Madge Bowers, and his sisters Sherry Bowers and Debbie Bowers. Services will be Saturday January 28th at 2pm, at Upper Indiana Presbyterian Church on Old Bruceville Road. Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Richard.
