Richard "Rick" Wood

Richard "Rick" E. Wood, 54, of Vincennes, IN, passed away Sept. 20, 2018, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN.Rick worked in the warehouse at Goodwill. He was an avid Dale Earnhart fan and a Dallas Cowboys fan.Born June 3, 1964 in Vincennes, IN, he was the son of Ben and Catherine (Wininger) Wood. Surviving is his mother, Catherine Tomson of Arlington, TX; his father, Ben Wood, of Vincennes, IN; his daughter, Reba Wood of Indianapolis, IN; his sisters, Mary Wood of Red Oak, TX, Sheila Tomson of Mansfield, TX, Jamie Woods and her husband, Robert, of Bedford, IN, and Kelly Magill and her husband, David, of Bedford, IN; his brothers, Rob Wood and his wife, Debra, of Bennington, OK, Jeff Wood and his wife, Penny, of Vincennes, IN, and Scott Wood and his wife, Nora, of Vincennes, IN; a sister-in-law, Tonya Tomson; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Preceding Rick was his step-father, Samuel Tomson, who he spent several years with growing-up; his step-mother, Doris Wood; and his brother, Samuel Tomson.Friends may visit with Rick's family from 5:00 - 7:00 on Monday, at Goodwin Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 7:00 at the funeral home, on Monday evening.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
