Richard Sutton

Richard Sutton, 80, of Vincennes, IN passed away on November 2, 2024. He was born in Westport, IL on April 22, 1944, to the late William and Evelyn (Carrie) Sutton. Richard worked for Homes Plumbing, as a plumber, for 30+ years. He married the love of his life, Judith Lewis, on May 26, 1963. Richard was a one of a kind man who had a heart of gold. He had an incredible sense of humor and the best one liners.

In his free time, Richard enjoyed deer hunting, raising rabbits, playing softball, camping, watching the Cardinal's, coaching softball, vegetable gardening, and collecting trinkets and antiques. He will be deeply missed by all.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents William and Evelyn Sutton; sons William "Billy" Sutton and Terry "TJ" Sutton; siblings Mary Benton, Patricia Dent, Anna Speth, William E. Sutton, Melvin Sutton, Cleo Sutton, Leo Sutton, Larry Sutton, Donald Sutton, Bobby Sutton, Susie Mendoza, and Harold Sutton.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Judith Sutton; children Kim (Steve) Combs, Timothy "Joe" (Angela) Sutton, Tangela Sutton, Andrina (Michael Folsom) Sutton; grandchildren Lexi, Alex, April, Tina, Heather, Kynzie, Jaxon, Kayla, Mya, Brittney, Brock, Chad, TJ, Dakota, Mikey, Caleb, Alanis, John, Juanita, Aubree, Ellie; 16 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Cathy Sutton; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Sutton. There will be no services at this time.
