Rita Benton, 72, passed away on October 21, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Rita was born on April 7, 1943 in Vincennes the daughter of Ernest and Ruth (McDonald) Helderman. Rita loved to crochet for other people and she liked to read. She also enjoyed company. Survivors include son, Dave Benton and wife Melody of Paoli; daughter, Tracy Dunlap and her husband Jay of Bridgeport, IL; grandchildren, Rob Benton, Rebecca Benton, Kayla Dunlap and great granddaughter, Chloe Elizabeth Padgett. Graveside services for Rita will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, October 26, 2015 at Memorial Park Cemetery. Burial will follow.
