Rita Huffman

Rita A. Huffman, 88, passed away at 5:05 am on November 30, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Rita was born on May 2, 1932 in Vincennes the daughter of Curtis Charles and Erva (Gott) Palmer.Rita had worked for Johnson Controls for many years and was very proud of the fact that she raised her four children on her own.Survivors include her children, Sara Arnold of Vincennes, Freddie G. Edgin, Jr. and his wife Connie of Vincennes, Charles Edgin and his wife Pamela of Vincennes; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, husband Don Huffman, daughter, Clara Ravellette; son-in-law, Alvin Arnold; brother Bob Palmer and sister Betty Smith.A graveside service to celebrate Rita's life will take place at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 919 Willow St., Vincennes with Pastor Trevor Murry officiating.
