Rita Nowling

Rita Ann Nowling, 81, passed away at her residence on Thursday, August 16, 2018. Rita was born on June 23, 1937 in Worthington, IN the daughter of Charles and Dorothy (Johnson) Waskom. She married Bill Nowling on October 19, 1970 and he preceded her in death on December 18, 2008.Rita was a CNA for Daviess Community Hospital for thirty-eight years and recently was an attendant for Aces Restaurant. She attended Calvary Missionary Church and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rita loved her jobs and was always very compassionate to all of her patients.Survivors include her children, son, Randall (Joni) Albertson of Bloomington, daughter, Teresa (Dots) Wagler of Washington, son, Scott (Debbie) Albertson of Plainville; sister, Sally Neill of Bloomfield; grandchildren, Shellie Fuhs, Keith Hardwick, Scott Wagler, Robyn Cox, Nichole Zenthoffer, Amie Wagler, and eleven great-grandchildren. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill Nowling, granddaughter, Heather Albertson, two brothers and one sister.Friends may visit with Rita's family from 4-8 pm on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State St. Washington, IN. Funeral services for Rita will begin at 11:00 am on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home with Bro. Bruce Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Plainville Cemetery.
