Robert Clark Allen, 60, of 1294 N. Bicknell Rd. Wheatland, passed away at 5:00 pm April 17, 2010 at his residence.He was born February 27, 1951 in Vincennes to Robert Franklin & Juanita Catherine (Hawkins) Allen.Bob retired from the Knox County Highway Department after 20 plus years of service. He enjoyed fishing and helping his nephew farm. He also enjoyed traveling to different parts of the country with his brother. Bob served his country in the Vietnam War.Surviving is a daughter, Martha (Robert) Jackson of Vincennes, a son, Dennis Allen of Kansas, three sisters, Nancy Brown of Carlisle, Katie Franklin of Wingo, Kentucky, and Gloria Loudermilk of Wheatland, a brother, Jim Allen of Wingo, Kentucky and a grandson, Addison Stevens.He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Franklin & Juanita Catherine (Hawkins) Allen.There will be no public services.
