Robert Bunting

Robert E. Bunting, 77, of Oaktown, IN, passed away September 26, 2020, at Gentle Care Nursing Home.Bob served his country in the United States Army in Germany and worked as a union laborer, out of the hall in Marion, IL, doing primarily concrete work. He later traveled with his wife, who was an evangelist. A member of Vincennes Gun Club and Wabash Valley Sportsmen Club, he was also a NRA supporter. Bob was a member of the Bone Gap Christian Fellowship, and attended Cornerstone Ministries.Surviving is his step-son, Mike Tyner and his wife, Dolores of Vincennes, IN; his sisters, Eileen Joyce Paris of Albion, IL, and Patricia Kay Combs of Fairview Heights, IL; his brothers, Gerald Clinton Bunting of Owensville, MO, and George Dale Bunting of Bone Gap, IL; his step-grandson M. Kelly Tyner and his wife, Aaron of Vincennes, IN; and his step-great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Maggie Tyner of Vincennes, INBorn November 19, 1942, in Bone Gap, IL, he was the son of George Thurman and Hazel Kathleen (Nash) Bunting. His parents; his wife, Lenora (Yates); his brothers, Ronald Dean Bunting, Thomas Allen Bunting and Richard Keith Bunting; and his step-granddaughter, Samantha Tyner preceded him.A graveside service will be held on Friday, at 11:00 am, at Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Kathie Eads officiating.
