Robert Frisz

Robert Paul Frisz, 80, passed away at 12:40 pm on March 24, 2022, at Good Samaritan Hospital. Robert was born on January 3, 1942, in Vincennes, Indiana. He was the son of Joseph and Dorothy (Suddeth) Frisz. Robert married Betty Jean (Smith) on June 13, 1970. Robert was a member of the Community United Methodist Church. Robert had worked for Vincennes Steel for 38 years until he retired. He loved visiting with his grandchildren, reading, working on search word puzzles, and sitting outside on a sunny day. Survivors include his wife, Betty of Vincennes; son, Jospeh Frisz of Vincennes; daughter, Rebecca Boxley and her husband Waylon of Vincennes; brother, Frank Frisz of Vincennes; grandchildren, Owen Boxley, Chistopher Boxley, Joseph James Frisz, Abby Rain Frisz, Mikayla (David) Fisher, and Emma Jean Boxley. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Joseph Frisz, Richard Frisz, William Frisz, and sister Rose Marie Spalla. Friends and family may visit with Robert's family from 4-7 pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, Indiana. Robert's funeral service will begin at 7:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Darren Williams officiating. Robert will be laid to rest at a later date.
