Robert Glaubensklee

Robert E. Glaubensklee, 94, passed away on February 26, 2016 at The New Willow Nursing Home. Bob was born on June 8, 1921 in Vincennes the son of Clyde Dewey and Bertha (Pheffer) Glaubensklee. He married Doris Smith on June 8, 1947 and she preceded him in death on September 21, 2014.Bob worked for the Vincennes Water Department, and then the Packaging Corporation of America retiring there after thirty-two years. He enjoyed fishing and carpentry and liked to draw.Survivors include his sister, Mary Lou Ducharme of Vincennes; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jack and Rose Anne Staley of Vincennes. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Doris Glaubensklee, son, Steven E. Glaubensklee; and two brothers, Tom and Talmadge "Joe" Glaubensklee. Funeral services for Bob will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Pete White officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with Bob's family on Monday from Noon until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Bob's family would like to thank The New Willow Manor Nursing Home staff and Gentiva Hospice for the wonderful care showed towards Bob.
