Robert Gott

Robert Lee (Bob) Gott, 71, of 1005 E Sycamore, Vincennes, passed away at 4:45 p.m. January 1, 2013 at his residence.He was born April 23, 1942 in Vincennes to Theodore and Catherine (Hunkler) Gott. Bob retired as a tool and die maker in Princeton and held memberships in the Knights of Columbus, Sons of the American Legion, and St. John's Catholic Church. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1960.Those left to honor Bob is his wife, Sara (Page) Gott, whom he married September 6, 2005; his children, Camby Biggs of Vincennes, Timothy Gott of Vincennes, and Maghann Gott of Ashville, NC; a very special granddaughter whom he helped raise, Sara Michelle Allen; along with 5 grandchildren, 6 step children, Richard Allen of Greenville, TX, Robert Allen of Washington, Rodney Allen of Vincennes, Amy Lee of Bicknell, Ronald Allen of Vincennes, and Michael Allen of Vincennes; 19 step great grandchildren and 15 great great step grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Theodore Gott Jr. and a sister, Mary Gott.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Father David Fleck officiating. There will be no burial. Friends may visit from 4-8 Friday at the funeral home.
