Robert Kell

Robert Kell, Jr., age 47 of Evansville, IN, passed away suddenly but peacefully at his home, on Tuesday, December 11, 2018. He will be remembered, always, as a loving son who valued family above all other things. He is survived by his father, Robert (Clint) Kell Sr.; his stepmother, Angela Levitt Kell (Atlanta, GA); and his mother, Pamela Jane Arn Kell (Montclair, VA). In addition, he is survived by his sister, Heather Jane Kell Allard and family (Montclair, VA); husband Lt. Col. Nathan Allard and daughters, Abbigail and Charleigh, step-brother Andrew Allen Simon and wife, Katelyn Marie Simon (Birmingham, MI); as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends from all over the USA. Rob was an excellent student and musician, but his true passion was sports at which he excelled in high school. He was a sensitive and caring person who wanted nothing more than to please the people he cared about. He particularly enjoyed many hours of fishing on numerous occasions with his dad and Uncles; Clark Kell (Franklin, NC), Bill Kell (Franklin, NC) and David Kell (Owensville, IN). Rob's uncle, David Kell and family (wife Kelly Gish Kell and children Alexandra, Lane and Sam) of Owensville, IN are assisting the family with local arrangements. A brief Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018 beginning at 1:30PM at Holder's Funeral Home, 319 S. Main St., Owensville, IN. Visitation will be 12:30pm -1:30 pm. Pastor Wayne Nall of Fairhaven Christ Fellowship Church in Cynthiana, IN will say a few words for us at the Memorial Service. This will be followed by a short trip to our family cemetery, (Clark Cemetery, Owensville, IN) where a brief prayer will be said over his internment. He will be laid to rest beside his paternal grandparents; Major William Lee Kell Sr. of Ft. Branch, IN and Sarah Louise Westerfield Kell of Princeton, IN.
