He was born January 8, 1953, in Princeton, IN, the son of Samuel Albert and Sarah (Belcher) Lewis. Bob had worked at Raben Tire and Hansen & Sons.Survivors include his wife, Rita Lewis of Vincennes; sons, Travis Lewis, Justin Lewis and Bobby Lewis all of Vincennes; daughters, Charla Hawkins of Vincennes and Missy Perez of Marion, IL; sisters, Sue Stevenson and Deborah Cox of Vincennes and Elizabeth Lloyd of Carlisle; brother, DeVon Belcher of Vincennes; grandchildren, Destiny Morrison, Erica Perez, Jordan, Nathan, Kira Moore, Kierra Lewis, Kelsie Davis, Gaige Lewis, Bryer Lewis, Drake Hoover and Briston Yarber and great-grandchild, Emma Marie Morrison.Preceding Bob in death were his parents and brothers, Albert Lewis and Jack Lewis.Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 26 at 11:00 a.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
