Robert Ramsey

Robert Lee Ramsey, 80, of Bruceville, Indiana, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, March 13, 2023. Robert was born on June 3, 1942 and was the son of John W. and Margaret J. (Gartner) Ramsey. He married the love of his life, Brenda (Stephens) Ramsey in 1963 and together they built a beautiful life together. Robert was employed by Mid Central Operating Engineers, Local #841, and Rogers Group. He was proud to be part of the union family. In his spare time, Robert enjoyed gardening, the outdoors, reading, and watching almost anything on tv, especially the Big Ten. His family was the light of his eye and he was so proud of all his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Brenda K Ramsey; children, Kyla (John) Lee, Tim Ramsey, and Amanda (Andy) Morrison; grandchildren, Autumn Hurst, Braelyn Hurst, Davis Ramsey, Camden Ramsey, Caleb Morrison, Gabriel Morrison, Shelby Morrison, Andrea Morrison, and Sabra (Caleb) Lankford; great grandchildren, Lillian and Niah. Robert is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Janie Jo Ramsey; brother Steve Ramsey; and his parents, John and Margaret (Gartner) Ramsey. Per Robert's request, private services will be conducted at a later date. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral is honored to be entrusted with the care of Robert.
