Robert "Rob" Marion

Robert "Rob" L. Marion, 63, of 20 Colony Drive, Vincennes, passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 at his residence.He was born November 25, 1949 in Wilmington Delaware to Harold & Marion Virginia (Harris) Marion.Rob was a past restaurant owner, and had served as a director and mentor at the Day House. A member of the First Church of God in Vincennes, he was involved in bible study, the choir, and the Walk to Emmaus. He was also a counselor for Another Chance Christ Ministries, and had been involved in The Offerings. An avid baseball fan, he loved the NY Yankees.Surviving is his wife Nancy (Barker) Marion, whom he married May 15, 2010; a son, Jonathan Marion of Terre Haute; daughters, Georgia Kowalski of New York, NY, Lauren Robbins of Terre Haute,IN and Shannon Messer of Terre Haute, IN; his brother Richard Alan (Marcia) Marion of Dallas, TX; his sister, Barbara Virginia (Joseph) Parris of Sleidell, LA; and eight grandchildren.Funeral services will be held Friday, at 10:30, at the First Church of God.
