Robert Thompson

Robert W. Thompson Jr., 52. of 322 W. Jefferson, Vincennes, passed away on Sunday November 20, 2011 at his residence. He was born April 29, 1959 in Vincennes, Indiana to Robert & Patricia (Gaines) Thompson Sr. He was employed with SCHOTT North America. Robert enjoyed his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed outdoor activities, especially hunting and fishing. Surviving is his wife, Donna (Madison) Thompson, whom he married on July 4th 1981, his mother, Patricia Thompson of Russellville, his children, Melissa Thompson of Gary, and Triston Thompson at home, and a brother, Jeff Thompson of Russellville. Also surviving are his grandchildren, DeMarco Gillis, Tatiana Gillis, Torrence Gillis, De'Juan Gillis, Tryden Gillis, and Tyson Gillis. He was preceded in death by his father, and a brother, Ralph Thompson. The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Friday, November 25, 2011 at Goodwin Funeral Home. There will be no funeral service.
