Robert Vieke

Robert "Bob" Vieke, 84, of Vincennes, IN passed away April 9, 2023. He was born in Vincennes, IN on May 11, 1938, to the late Ernest J. and Helen J. (Casper) Vieke. Robert attended Central Catholic High School. He was a lifelong farmer. Robert was a member of Old Cathedral Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was a former member of the local Eagles and Moose lodge. In his free time, Robert enjoyed maintaining his farming equipment and spending time socializing with his friends. He will be deeply missed. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; brother Donald Vieke and twin brother William (Camille) Vieke; and brother-in-law Larry Yarber Sr. He is survived by his children Debra (Bruce) Rushing and Daniel (Penny) Morse; siblings Ronald (Judy) Vieke, Jan Yarber, John (Cherie) Vieke, Helen (Steve) Stiles, Sharon (David) Carie, Patricia (William) Ragsdale; sister-in-law Dorothy Vieke; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Goodwin-Sievers is honored and entrusted with the care of Mr. Vieke. A memorial mass will take place at Old Cathedral Catholic Church in Vincennes, IN on May 11, 2023, at 11am, which would have been Bob and Bill's 85th birthday. Family and friends are invited.
